Course Description  
This is a foundation course in
how the vestibular system
serves as one’s internal GPS,
integrator of all sensory
processing that incorporates
movement and balance.
Participants will be guided in
understanding the design of the
vestibular system for perceiving,
without conscious attention, the
precise, continuously changing
orientation of the head and body
in space under all conditions. In
other words, it affords the ability
to stand, walk, run, and play
safely, spontaneously, and
adaptively while performing all
life tasks and roles. This frees
the conscious mind to problem
solve, motor plan and execute
all aspects of cognitive
function......

RGV SEMINARS is a company that was established with a vision in
making continuing education accessible to therapists in the field of
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy;
Educators; and other professions. This is a partnership between
Veronica Alonzo, OTR and Beatriz Perez-Tienda, COTA. We count
with the assistance of other therapist and educators, on staff,
serving as consultants. The role of the consultants will be to assess
that all criteria for certification of courses being offered are met.

This company was founded  keeping in mind the many obstacles  
that may arise to attend required continuing education
courses/workshops for both therapist, rehab clinics, hospitals,
schools, and other settings where therapist and other professionals
may be practicing. Being mothers of young children, we can also
empathize with those who have children and sometimes find it
difficult to travel.

RGV Seminars is making it possible in bring continuing education
closer to home. We are committed in sponsoring renowned,
innovative and current courses/seminars allowing therapists to gain
knowledge and hands on techniques related to their field. We hope
this will be of great benefit for those who attend our sponsored
courses and we are open to any feedback that will make this a
